The Divine Service for the First Sunday in Lent (February 26, 2023)

“Through One Man” – Romans 5:12-19

Lent is a time of “spring training” for the Christian. A time to remember that we face temptation every day. We dare not think too highly of ourselves, our goodness, even our faith, for we all too often give into temptation. Through one man, Adam, we all suffer from temptations and sin. Yet through one man, Jesus, we have the victory over any sin we fall into, failing to recognize temptation or just giving into it.
